ABOUT ME

Welcome to my home page.

 

I am a Professor of Economics at University College London. My research interests are in Applied Microeconomics, in particular Labor Economics.

 

Topics I am currently working on include:

  • the impact of business taxation on local labor markets, firms and workers.

  • the impact of immigration on local labor markets, firms and workers.

I have served as a Joint Managing Editor at the Review of Economic Studies between 2016 and 2021. Since 2022, I am a Fellow of the British Academy. I am the Deputy Director of the CReAM.

In 2019, I received a 6-year ERC Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council for my project "Wage inequality within and across firms: The role of market forces, government and firm policies”.
